Graduates holding an associate’s degree or higher from a qualified educational institution, or a degree from a foreign institution recognized by the International Federation of University Women are eligible for membership. If you are an undergraduate working toward an associate or bachelor’s degree in a two- or four-year educational institution, you may join as a student affiliate.
AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There shall be no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or class.
Dues, which include national, state, and Medford Branch membership, are due on July 1 each year. Currently, $56 of your AAUW dues can be deducted as a charitable contribution on your federal income tax return. The entire amount may be deductible by members as an ordinary and necessary business expense.
