Camelot 

Each fall we buy out the house at a Camelot Theater performance, then sell the tickets to members for fundraising to support AAUW National graduate student scholarships. Along with raising funds for AAUW National, we hold a wine raffle at the performance that goes towards fundraising for local scholarship awards.

KidSpree

In collaboration with JC Penney’s Medford store, several organizations pool their efforts to give 100 or more low-income children a back-to-school shopping spree. Our Branch supplies breakfast, volunteer shoppers and other helpers to guide these children through the experience and help them select the clothes they need. KidSpree is held at the store in August before school starts.

 

Scholarship Awards

Throughout the year we work to raise money to help several individuals meet their educational goals. In Summer 2024 we were excited to present scholarships to two students at Southern Oregon University and three students at Rogue Community College. We are pleased to be able to help these students meet their educational and personal goals.
